1961 – The Beatles perform a nighttime show at the Cavern Club, Liverpool.
1962 – The Beatles perform at the Majestic Ballroom in Birkenhead.
1963 – The Beatles second album “With the Beatles” (Parlophone PMC 1206 mono/PCS 3045 stereo) is released in the U.K. Tracks: “It Won’t Be Long,” “All I’ve Got to Do,” “All My Loving,” “Don’t Bother Me,” “Little Child,” “Till There Was You,” “Please Mr. Postman,” “Roll Over Beethoven,” “Hold Me Tight,” “You Really Got a Hold on Me,” “I Wanna Be Your Man,” “Devil in Her Heart,” “Not a Second Time,” and “Money.” Highest chart position: No.1. The Beatles, on a tour of Britain, perform two shows at the Globe Cinema, Stockton-on-Tees, Durham.
1968 – The Beatles’ double album “The Beatles” (a.k.a. “The White Album”) (Apple PCS 7067/8) is released in the U.K. Highest chart position: No.1.
1976 – Ringo Starr’s single “Hey Baby/Lady Gaye” (Atlantic 45-3371) is released in the U.S.
1978 – Paul McCartney and Wings’ album “Wings Greatest” (Capitol SOO-11905) is released in the U.S. Tracks: “Another Day,” “Silly Love Songs,” “Live and Let Die,” “Junior’s Farm,” “With a Little Luck,” “Band on the Run,” “Uncle Albert – Admiral Halsey,” “Hi Hi Hi,” “Let ‘Em In,” “My Love,” “Jet,” and “Mull of Kintyre.”
