1962 – The Beatles perform a lunchtime show at the Cavern Club, Liverpool.

1963 – The Beatles, on the Helen Shapiro tour, perform at the Rialto Theatre, Fishergate, York, Yorkshire. Shapiro is still too ill to perform.

1964 – The Beatles in the recording studio, Studio Two, EMI’s Abbey Road Studios, London. “And I Love Her” is completed with two more takes. Two other songs: “Tell Me Why” (8 takes) and “If I Fell” (15 takes) are recorded. Producer: George Martin; Engineer: Norman Smith; 2nd Engineer: Richard Langham.

1965 – `Beatles For Sale’ number 1, 1st and last week, replacing `Rolling Stones II’ (UK Record Retailer chart).

1996 – Recording of `Flaming Pie’ in Sussex, England.
